Job Description

Help design, build and continuously improve the clients online platform.
Research, suggest and implement new technology solutions following best practices/standards.
Take responsibility for the resiliency and availability of different products.

Requirements

Conduct user research, usability studies, and competitor analysis to support product and solution design initiatives
Collaborate with the broader design and engineering teams to develop end-to-end Hybrid Cloud solutions
Manage full application stacks, from operating systems to custom-built applications, within AWS cloud environments
Work closely with architects and engineering teams to design scalable, secure, and high-performing network, system, and storage solutions aligned with business and service requirements
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines and deployment methodologies for server-based technologies
Partner with architecture and engineering teams to design and deliver scalable software services and distributed systems
Strong hands-on experience in Java 8, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture
Proven expertise in AWS cloud services, particularly Amazon EKS
Experience working with Kafka for event-driven and messaging solutions
Strong scripting and automation skills with hands-on experience in Python
Experience with AWS services such as AWS Glue, Athena, or similar data processing and analytics components
Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration
Experience with NoSQL databases and API management platforms such as AWS API Gateway, Kong, or Apigee
Hands-on experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools including Jenkins, Maven, GitHub, and Ansible
Ability to create and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation templates
Good understanding of Agile development methodologies and software delivery practices
Strong analytical, design, development, and problem-solving capabilities
Exposure to Retail and Supply Chain domain is an added advantage
Excellent teamwork, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
