Senior Java Developer (Capital Markets / eTrading)

Job Description

We are looking for high-performing Senior Java Developers with strong expertise in Core Java backend development, microservices, and real-time systems within the Capital Markets domain. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building low-latency, high-performance trading applications and be comfortable collaborating with global teams across front office and technology. Job Location - Bangalore, KA / Noida, UP (Hybrid) Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and optimize scalable backend components using Core Java and Spring Boot . Implement multithreading, thread pools, and concurrent data processing for real-time trading workflows. Apply object-oriented principles (OOPs) and design patterns to create maintainable, efficient codebases. Build and deploy microservice-based architectures , including integration with containerized environments ( Docker , Kubernetes). Implement Spring Boot Security , authentication, and authorization for sensitive trading systems. Collaborate closely with traders, quants, and business analysts to translate business needs into technical solutions. Perform code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning to ensure low latency and high reliability . Manage database interactions schema design, query optimization, and performance troubleshooting. Work in Agile environments and contribute to continuous integration and delivery practices. Required Skills & Experience 10+ years of experience in Java backend development (Java 8 or higher) . Strong command of Core Java, Multithreading, ThreadPool Management , and Design Patterns . Deep understanding of OOP concepts and microservice architecture . Hands-on experience with Spring, Spring Boot, and Spring Boot Security frameworks. Proficiency in SQL / RDBMS (Sybase, Oracle, or PostgreSQL) . Working experience with Linux/Unix environments . Exposure to Docker-based deployments and cloud-native architecture . Knowledge of messaging systems (Solace, Tibco, Kafka, or MQ) is a strong plus. Domain knowledge in Capital Markets / Fixed Income / eTrading / Front Office systems is highly desirable. Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance optimization skills. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor?s or Master?s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field . Experience working on low-latency financial applications or eTrading systems . Familiarity with test-driven development (TDD) and CI/CD pipelines . Excellent communication skills and ability to work with global stakeholders.
