Ciklum is looking for a Senior IoT Engineer to join our team full-time in India. About the role: As a Senior IoT Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow. Together, we will work on the project of renewing and modernizing an embedded firmware and software platform, making it future-proof, flexible, and ready for connected product innovations. Responsibilities: Lead firmware development for embedded devices and systems from requirements to production and commercial deployment Design and implement software for embedded devices and systems without supervision Design, develop, code, test and debug system software Interface with hardware design and development Analyse and enhance efficiency, stability and scalability of system resources Integrate and validate new product designs Support software QA and optimize I/O performance Provide post-production support Assess third party and open source software Apply state-of-the-art embedded systems design to solve business problems Perform research and develop proof of concept prototypes Requirements: Ability to think in an analytic and structured way S/MS degree in Computer Science or Engineering 5+ years of proven working experience in hardware and software engineering 5+ years of solid programming experience in C/C++ Experience with Cortex M0/M3/M4/M7, Nordic nRF5 SDK, networking (Ethernet, WiFi, Bluetooth, Zigbee etc.), MCU peripherals (UART, SPI, I2C, ADC, DAC, timers, etc.) Proven experience in embedded systems design with RTOS Experience in hands-on development and troubleshooting on embedded targets Familiarity with software configuration management tools, bug tracking tools, and peer review Experience with GCC, IAR ARM Workbench, Eclipse Experience with Linux kernel, low-level OS/platform, and understanding of Unix internals DSP expertise and strong theoretical background Knowledge of Python for test script extension and development Understanding of Git workflow Ability to mentor junior and intern teammates What`s in it for you?
