Senior Interior Designer

Dedicated site engineers oversee projects to ensure precision, craftsmanship, and seamless execution from concept to completion.

Role Description The Senior Interior Designer is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru North. This role involves leading end-to-end design projects, from initial client consultations and concept development to detailed drawings, material selection, and final execution. Responsibilities include creating design presentations, space plans, and 3D visualizations, coordinating with the in-house execution team, and supervising site work to ensure designs are implemented to specification. The Senior Interior Designer will collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and vendors, manage timelines and budgets, and maintain high standards of design quality and client communication. The role also includes mentoring junior designers and contributing to continuous improvement of design processes and standards.

Qualifications

• Strong interior design skills, including space planning, concept development, material and finishes selection, and furniture design.
• Proficiency with design and visualization tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar 3D modeling and rendering software.
• Experience in project management, including coordinating with site teams, vendors, and contractors, and overseeing on-site execution.
• Ability to create clear technical drawings, BOQs, and documentation to guide construction and execution teams.
• Excellent client-facing skills, including requirements gathering, design presentations, negotiation, and expectation management.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and a focus on functionality, safety, and compliance with relevant standards.
• Prior experience in residential interior projects at a senior level, preferably handling multiple projects simultaneously.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru North on a full-time basis and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
