Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager – Human Resources to lead the entire Human Resources function and partner with business leadership in building a high-performing, compliant, and engaged workforce.

The role requires a strategic HR leader with strong exposure to manufacturing environments, capable of driving talent acquisition, performance management, organizational development, statutory compliance, employee engagement, and HR transformation initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

HR Strategy & Business Partnership

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Partner with business leaders on workforce planning, organization development, and productivity improvement.
  • Build HR systems and practices that support long-term organizational growth.

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

  • Lead annual manpower planning and budgeting.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment across junior, middle, senior, and leadership positions.
  • Develop campus recruitment initiatives and leadership hiring strategies.
  • Build strong talent pipelines for critical positions.

HR Policies & Governance

  • Develop, review, and standardize HR policies, procedures, and employee guidelines.
  • Ensure implementation of best HR practices across the organization.
  • Strengthen HR governance and process discipline.

Performance Management & Talent Development

  • Drive KRAs, KPIs, goal setting, performance reviews, appraisal processes, and succession planning.
  • Design and implement learning and development initiatives.
  • Identify capability gaps and build future leadership pipelines.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Coordinate compensation benchmarking and annual salary revisions.
  • Manage payroll inputs, employee benefits, incentives, rewards, and recognition programmes.
  • Ensure internal equity and external competitiveness.

Employee Relations

  • Foster a positive employee relations environment.
  • Handle disciplinary matters, grievances, domestic enquiries, and workplace conduct.
  • Promote employee engagement and organizational culture.

Statutory Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with all labour laws and employment regulations.
  • Manage statutory registers, audits, inspections, contract labour compliance, and liaison with government authorities.
  • Coordinate with legal advisors and consultants.

HR Operations & Analytics

  • Strengthen HRMS and HR information systems.
  • Develop HR dashboards and management reports.
  • Monitor manpower cost, attrition, recruitment metrics, absenteeism, productivity, and training effectiveness.

Organization Development

  • Drive organization restructuring, role clarity, job evaluation, change management, and culture-building initiatives.
  • Support continuous improvement and strategic HR transformation projects.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • MBA (HR) / MSW / PGDM-HR from a recognized institution.
  • 15–20 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in manufacturing or process industries.
  • Strong exposure to strategic HR, talent acquisition, performance management, learning & development, employee relations, and statutory compliance.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.
  • Experience working with senior management and cross-functional leadership teams.
