iKure is looking for an experienced and mature Senior HR Manager who can manage people, culture, performance, and HR operations across a diverse and distributed workforce.

The role requires someone who is practical, people-oriented, firm when required, and capable of handling teams across multiple locations, including office teams, field teams, project teams, and community-based healthcare workers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead HR operations across multiple locations, programs, clinics, and field teams.
  • Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, grievance handling, and workplace discipline in a fair and structured manner.
  • Support managers in handling people issues, team performance, communication gaps, and escalation matters.
  • Strengthen HR policies, processes, attendance systems, leave management, onboarding, documentation, and employee records.
  • Drive recruitment for office, field, program, healthcare, technology, and support roles.
  • Ensure smooth onboarding and induction of new employees across different functions and geographies.
  • Support performance management, goal setting, reviews, feedback discussions, and PIP processes where required.
  • Build a culture of accountability, ownership, professionalism, and respect across the organisation.
  • Work closely with leadership and functional heads to understand team requirements and improve workforce planning.
  • Manage HR compliance, employee documentation, contracts, consultant agreements, and statutory coordination.
  • Handle sensitive employee matters with maturity, confidentiality, and balanced judgement.
  • Support training, capacity building, employee engagement, and internal communication.
  • Ensure coordination between head office, branch teams, field teams, and project locations.
  • Track attendance, productivity, field discipline, reporting structures, and HR-related MIS.
  • Help build systems that support a growing healthcare organisation working across diverse communities and locations.

What We Are Looking For

  • 8–12 years of experience in HR, people operations, employee relations, recruitment, HR compliance, and performance management.
  • Strong experience in managing teams across multiple locations.
  • Ability to handle conflict, difficult conversations, grievances, and disciplinary matters with maturity.
  • Good understanding of HR policies, documentation, compliance, attendance, payroll coordination, and employee lifecycle management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with both senior leadership and field-level teams.
  • Practical problem-solving approach with good judgement.
  • Experience in healthcare, social enterprise, development sector, field operations, startups, or distributed workforce environments will be preferred.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving organisation where systems are evolving.
  • Strong follow-up, coordination, and documentation skills.
