Role Description The Senior Highway Engineer will lead and manage highway design projects, from concept development through detailed engineering and documentation. Responsibilities include preparing alignment and geometric designs, pavement design concepts, and drainage solutions, as well as reviewing drawings, design reports, and technical specifications. The role involves coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, overseeing feasibility and technical studies, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and client requirements. The Senior Highway Engineer will mentor junior engineers, support project planning and scheduling, and contribute to quality assurance and value engineering initiatives. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad, requiring regular collaboration with project stakeholders and site visits as needed.
Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Highway Design and Highway Engineering, including geometric design, alignment, and pavement concepts.
• Solid foundation in Civil Engineering Design for roads, bridges, and associated infrastructure elements.
• Experience conducting Feasibility Studies and evaluating technical, economic, and environmental aspects of Infrastructure Projects.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Proficiency in relevant design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, OpenRoads, or similar tools).
• Knowledge of national and international highway design standards, codes, and best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical report-writing skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to guide and mentor junior team members.
• Prior experience in consultancy or large-scale infrastructure projects in India is an advantage.
