Senior Full-Stack Engineer (.NET Web Forms + .NET Core)

WORK24 is looking for a highly skilled Senior Full-Stack Engineer to lead the modernization of our platform by bridging legacy ASP.NET Web Forms (.NET Framework 4.5) applications with modern .NET Core (6/7/8) Minimal APIs. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in hybrid environments and enjoys transforming legacy systems into scalable, high-performance architectures.

The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in C# and a deep understanding of the ASP.NET Web Forms lifecycle, including ViewState and Server Controls. You will be responsible for analyzing and refactoring legacy .aspx/.ascx logic, replacing monolithic components with efficient Minimal APIs, and ensuring zero downtime during system migration. At the same time, you will maintain and optimize the existing .NET 4.5 applications while contributing to a modern service-based architecture.

Strong proficiency in SQL Server is essential, including writing complex stored procedures, schema design, indexing, and performance tuning. Experience transitioning from ADO.NET to Entity Framework Core is required. You should also have advanced knowledge of Git and experience managing parallel legacy and modern codebases. Exposure to microservices migration, Docker, CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps), and unit testing frameworks (xUnit/nUnit) will be considered a plus.
