Senior Full-Stack Developer

We are building Tokenfolio as the new global standard for pre-IPO investing. Currently, we handle large transactions on our platform and as the client base is expanding, we need to upgrade our platform to a more efficient one.

Requirement: We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer who can understand business needs and lead the development and management of major parts of our platform. This is an in-house position based in Bangalore, India.

The platform you will build and oversee will be used by renowned HNIs and key Silicon Valley figures. We seek someone who is diligent, capable of leading tasks in a fast-paced environment, and is solution-oriented with an entrepreneurial spirit. You would be expected to work independently without much need of hand-holding so prior building experience is a must. The ideal candidate should be able to work in tandem with the team, ideate and find solutions to complex business challenges.

Responsibilities

• Full-Stack Development: Plan, build, and maintain the Tokenfolio web application, encompassing UI development, back-end logic, and database management.
• Architecture & Design: Architect features and systems with a focus on reliability, security, and scalability.
• Deployment & Maintenance: Implement and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, ensuring smooth and efficient deployment of code to production servers.
• Quality Assurance: Develop and execute a comprehensive unit to ensure high code quality and application stability.
• Code Standards & Best Practices: Adhere to and promote the highest coding standards and best practices, contributing to a maintainable and scalable codebase.
• Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with founders, management, and other engineers to understand business requirements, provide technical expertise, and contribute to strategic decision-making.
• Technical Strategy: Understand business needs and advise on overall engineering and technical strategy.
• Database Management: Design, implement, and manage relational databases, ensuring data integrity and performance.
• API Development: Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless communication between front-end and back-end systems.
• Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks, optimizing the application for speed and efficiency.
• Security Implementation: Implement robust security measures to protect user data and prevent vulnerabilities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Extensive experience in full-stack web development, with a strong focus on JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js. Proficiency in other programming languages is a plus.
• Proven experience with modern front-end frameworks, specifically React/Next.js
• Demonstrated ability to build responsive, secure, and scalable production web applications.
• Solid understanding of database development and management, with experience in relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency in writing comprehensive unit tests.
• Experience with authentication frameworks such as Auth0 is highly desirable.
• Strong DevOps experience, including proficiency in Docker, DigitalOcean (preferred), or similar cloud platforms. Ability to deploy services and manage cloud server environments.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
