About the Company Cvent?s Research and Development division is currently looking for a talented Senior Software Engineer to join our Development Frameworks Group. About the Role The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of TypeScript, GraphQL, Next.js, React, CSS. You should be a self-starter capable of taking ambiguous requirements and coming up with a viable solution. You should also be able to design scalable, high-performance solutions that empower our product development teams to create world-class products. You will work closely with a cross-functional team to design, build, maintain, and support our core development frameworks. Responsibilities Contribute directly to the evolution of framework features and capabilities that achieve improvement in resilience, scalability, security, and product developer velocity. Showcase strong architecture and design instincts in order to collaborate with technical leadership and other cross functional teams to develop and execute on roadmap. Support consuming teams as they adopt, upgrade and utilize the development framework to create solutions. Proactively stays ahead of emerging technologies and trends to anticipate future challenges and opportunities. Consistently look for ways to remove friction to ensuring a desirable experience for our customers ? the developer. Qualifications Bachelors+ in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience. 4 to 7 years of Software Development experience. Required Skills Highly proficient in JavaScript or Typescript for web application development. Deep understanding of React/Next.js, GraphQL, CSS. Proficient with AWS services including Cloudfront, ECS, S3, DynamoDB and others. Some exposure with CI/CD concepts, knowing how to configure and manage pipelines to ensure that software updates are deployed quickly, safely, and efficiently. Strong passion for Software development and taking pride in your craft. Experience building framework libraries is a plus. Preferred Skills Experience building framework libraries is a plus.
