Software Engineer 3 (Frontend) Work from Office- Gurugram OLX India is a leading classifieds platform, boasting over 100+ million app downloads across diverse categories, including cars, bikes, real estate, and electronics. Consumers and dealers come to OLX India, India’s largest online classifieds platform, to buy and sell used and new products. OLX India operates in over 10 categories across India. Role Overview: We’re looking for a seasoned Frontend Engineer to build high-performance, scalable web applications. As an SE3, you’ll tackle complex technical challenges, mentor peers, and shape the frontend architecture while delivering exceptional user experiences. Responsibilities: • Build and maintain advanced React/Next.js applications with modern patterns and state management. • Lead SSR/SSG implementation and ensure technical SEO, performance, and scalability. • Integrate with backend services, define API contracts, and handle caching and data-fetching strategies. • Profile, debug, and optimize for speed, reliability, and resource efficiency. • Drive testing (unit, integration, E2E) and maintain CI/CD quality gates. • Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and raise technical standards. • Champion security, observability, and best practices across the stack. • Influence architectural decisions and lead cross-team initiatives. Requirements: • 5-8 Years of relevant experience. • Expert in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Redux, and Next.js (SSR/SSG). • Strong foundation in HTML, CSS, responsive design, and accessibility. • Hands-on experience with Node.js, caching (Redis or similar), and performance optimization. • Proven track record in technical SEO and frontend performance tuning. • Skilled with CI/CD, testing frameworks, and modern build tools. • Strong communication, mentoring, and leadership abilities. • Experience with monitoring, logging, and frontend security hardening.
