Senior Financial Analyst

The Senior Financial Analyst will support financial planning, reporting, and analysis activities in a dynamic, fast-paced software environment. This role requires strong analytical capability, sound business acumen, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. The Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in improving forecasting accuracy, strengthening reporting processes, and delivering actionable insights to business leaders.

What You'll Do

Financial Planning & Forecasting

• Support the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes by preparing schedules, consolidating inputs, and validating assumptions.
• Build and maintain financial models to support planning, scenario analysis, and strategic initiatives.
• Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports for senior management, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and clarity.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze variances vs. budget/forecast, and highlight risks and opportunities.
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends affecting business performance.
  
  

Reporting & Analysis

• Support improvements in reporting efficiency by identifying opportunities to automate recurring reports and streamline workflows.
• Prepare variance analysis commentary and financial insights that support operational and strategic decision-making.
• Leverage planning and reporting tools (e.g., Hyperion, Qlik) to enhance reporting quality and analytical depth.
• Maintain and update financial dashboards, standard reporting packages, and ad hoc analysis.
  
  

Cross-Functional Support

• Partner with FP&A and business stakeholders to gather financial inputs, validate accuracy, and ensure alignment across planning cycles.
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on analytical findings.
• Participate in key initiatives to enhance financial systems, improve planning accuracy, and support process improvements.
  
  

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in FP&A or financial analysis, ideally within SaaS or technology-driven businesses.
• Strong proficiency with Excel, financial modeling, and financial reporting tools; experience with Hyperion, Workday, and BI tools such as Qlik is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively across teams and time zones.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
