Assist in preparation of annual plan for Internal Safety Audits and Surveillances, in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Assist in Planning and accomplishment of the quantum of Accident prevention programs, surveillance inspections to comply with national/international standards
Undertaking audit tasks, surveillance, or inspections in Ground Ops, Engg and Maintenance, Flight Operations, Operations Training, Flight Dispatch, IOCC departments as well as external contracted service providers, codeshare, wet lease organizations to assess compliance with the applicable regulations.
Coordinate with the Auditee at Department and stations for planning, timely execution and accomplishing the audit.
Recording and reviewing the audit / Surveillance nonconformance and subsequent follow up of Action Taken Reports for effective and timely closure of same.
Supporting safe operations by promoting regulatory compliance and implementation of effective procedures.
Monitor and update auditor currency / training requirements, and to conduct refresher trainings for auditors.
Ensure that Safety policies and Objectives as laid down in Flight Safety Manual/SMS Manual implemented and assessed its effectiveness.
Ensure that Safety Recommendations emanating from various Investigations, Load & Trim Checks, En-route Safety Inspections and Spot Checks / Surveillances are complied with by respective departments within reasonable time and maintain record.
Any other tasks allocated by CoFS /QA Manager for Flight Safety support functions
