Job Title: Senior Purchase Executive


We are seeking a proactive and experienced Senior Purchase Executive with 4–5 years of experience in procurement and supply chain operations to lead our purchasing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities, driving cost optimization initiatives, developing strategic vendor partnerships, and ensuring the uninterrupted availability of materials. This role requires strong leadership, negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills to support business objectives and improve procurement efficiency.


Key Responsibilities


  • Lead and supervise the procurement team, ensuring efficient execution of daily purchasing operations.
  • Manage end-to-end procurement activities, from purchase requisition to material delivery.
  • Develop, evaluate, and maintain long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Identify new sourcing opportunities and implement strategic sourcing initiatives to optimize costs and quality.
  • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, contracts, and delivery schedules to achieve the best commercial outcomes.
  • Review, approve, and monitor purchase orders while ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Coordinate with Production, Planning, Stores, Finance, and other internal departments to ensure timely procurement and uninterrupted operations.
  • Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with the stores team to maintain optimum stock levels while minimizing excess inventory.
  • Analyze market trends, supplier performance, and pricing to support strategic procurement decisions.
  • Ensure timely resolution of supplier-related issues, including quality, delivery, and commercial concerns.
  • Prepare procurement MIS reports, vendor performance reports, and cost-saving analyses for management review.
  • Drive continuous process improvements and ensure adherence to procurement policies and best practices.
  • Mentor and guide junior purchase executives, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and supporting their professional development.
