Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and analytical Senior Finance Executive to oversee our core financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, complex reconciliations, and regulatory compliance. In this role, you will not only manage day-to-end financial workflows but also drive process automation, mentor junior team members, and provide strategic insights to senior management to optimize cash flow and risk mitigation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advanced Financial Operations & Oversight

AP Management: Supervise the end-to-end Accounts Payable lifecycle; review high-value vendor invoices, complex purchase orders, and major payment runs for accuracy.

AR Strategy: Oversee the raising of complex sales orders and invoices, lead collection strategies, manage high-priority corporate client accounts, and supervise aging reports.

Credit Control & Risk: Design, enforce, and optimize credit control policies to systematically minimize overdue financial risks and bad debts.

  • Financial Reporting & Analysis

Core Accounting: Finalize month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring all journal entries, accruals, and adjustments strictly align with GAAP/IFRS.

Advanced Reconciliations: Perform and review bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations, proactively troubleshooting systemic discrepancies.

  • Regulatory Compliance & Strategic Auditing

Taxation Oversight: Ensure strict compliance and accurate filing of GST, TDS, and TCS, keeping up with local statutory updates.

Audit Leadership: Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external auditors; prepare complex audit schedules and ensure total audit readiness.

Process Automation: Identify operational bottlenecks and lead initiatives to automate manual accounting workflows using tech tools.

  • Key Requirements

Education Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce

Experience 4+ years of core accounting experience, with proven leadership in managing AP/AR portfolios and financial closures.

Software Proficiency

Super-user level experience with Zoho Books and advanced data modeling in MS Excel.

Taxation & Law In-depth, expert-level knowledge of GST, TDS, TCS, and statutory corporate compliances.

Strong leadership traits, project management skills, and excellent communication to influence stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Financial Closure Timeline: Consistently hitting month-end and year-end books closure targets smoothly and accurately.

Working Capital Optimization: Successfully minimizing Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and optimizing Days Payable Outstanding (DPO).

Tax & Compliance Accuracy: Maintaining a zero-penalty record for all statutory filings (GST, TDS, TCS).

Process Efficiency: Successful reduction of manual processing times through automation or workflow redesign.

Audit Management: Minimizing audit queries and ensuring timely delivery of clean audit schedules.
