About The Opportunity Role - Taxation Level - Senior Executive Reporting - Manager - Finance and Accounts Location - Gurgaon About The Function - The function plays a pivotal role in ensuring the organization's compliance with tax regulations, mitigating tax risks, and effectively managing tax litigations. It fosters close collaboration with the accounting, legal, and business teams, as well as with internal and external auditors. Its core responsibilities encompass addressing routine litigations, dealing with GST authorities, handling different GST related issues, synchronizing revenue figures with tax filings and ensuring the prompt handling of monthly and annual compliances. About The Role - The role incumbent will be a part of taxation team in the F&A function supporting the monthly compliances of indirect tax returns and reporting. Along with the regular monthly/Quarterly and yearly reconciliations, individual will be working closely with the accounts team to provide valuable input on tax compliances and applicability on company. What Will You Be Doing - GST Compliances and Litigation - Matching GSTR2B with books of accounts and resolving mismatches within timeline. Preparation of Input credit registers. Ensure that the Tax invoice is as per the requirement of GST law. Coordination with accounts team for input related accounting. Align with tech teams for preparation of various reports and details. Resolution of GST related queries of auditors and internal stakeholders. Regular follow-up with vendors. Undertaking necessary reconciliations of return with books of accounts. Work with other supporting teams for implementation of any new amendment or changes in system. Tax And Accounting And Other Related Tasks - Input Accounting. Assistance in direct tax and other related work Qualification And Experience - Commerce graduate with 2-3 experience in Indirect Tax. Well-versed with knowledge of MS Excel. Strong acumen with Data accuracy & analytical skills. Key success factors of the role - Effective communication skills. Proven ability to work collaboratively within a cross-functional team. Strong strategic thinking capabilities.
