Job Summary The Data Analyst ? Ground Safety will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting safety-related data to support risk management, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives within the Ramp Safety vertical. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to identify trends, generate insights, and support data-driven decision-making to enhance operational safety. Key Responsibilities Data Collection & Management: Gather and maintain safety-related data from various internal and external sources (e.g., incident reports, audits, inspections, operational logs). Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality. Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze trends, patterns, and anomalies in safety data to identify potential risks and areas for improvement. Develop dashboards, scorecards, and regular reports for leadership and operational teams. Support root cause analysis and safety investigations with data insights. Performance Monitoring: Track key safety performance indicators (KPIs) and compliance metrics. Provide actionable insights to improve safety outcomes and reduce incidents. Collaboration & Communication: Work with Ground Operations, Safety, Compliance, and Training teams to align data insights with operational strategies. Present findings in a clear, concise manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Process Improvement: Recommend improvements to data collection, storage, and analysis processes. Support automation and digitization initiatives for safety data management. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor?s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Aviation Safety, or a related field. Minimum 1-2 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in aviation or safety-critical industries. Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Python/R). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of safety management systems (SMS), ICAO, or IOSA standards is a plus. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying risks. Preferred Certifications Data Analytics or Business Intelligence certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Google, Tableau). Safety or aviation-related certifications e.g. SMS training are advantageous.
