Senior Engineer

The Senior Engineer role offers the opportunity to manage supplier quality and manufacturing processes within the automotive safety components industry. This role plays an important part in ensuring supplier performance, quality compliance, and smooth production support.

Responsibilities

• Handle and supervise a team of associates and DETs
• Manage sheet metal and injection moulding suppliers
• Perform inspections, including incoming inspection standards and work instruction preparation
• Prepare supplier layout plans, coordinate third-party testing, and develop process and 4M audit plans
• Raise 8D reports to suppliers for non-compliance and ensure closure and verification
• Handle internal line issues and support containment actions
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• 6 - 7 years of relevant experience in a similar role or within a manufacturing or automotive environment
