What You?ll Do At Eaton India Innovation Center , we are currently building world class software solutions for our customers and seeking a Senior Engineer- Dev to join the team!. This position is based at our office in Magarpatta City, Pune. Our aim is to provide world class Service and Connected solutions software for Eaton Vehicle Group customers. A key part of this solution is delivering customer facing applications utilizing latest in software development, cloud, big data, and IoT technologies from Microsoft and other partners. As a Senior Software Developer you will be integrated into a software development team working on a variety of software projects, responsible for software design and creation, fixing bugs, process improvement, writing unit tests and documentation. You will actively participate to application development activities. Manage and have ownership for all development cycle with respect of process, distribute tasks within the team, monitor of tasks in progress, solve and prevent issues, help define application architecture, support and coach new teammates. To be successful, you have strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to handle multiple concurrent projects and tasks while adapting quickly to changing priorities. Qualifications Bachelor?s Degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering /Information Technology/Electronics Engineering from an accredited institution required. Preferred - Master?s Degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering from an accredited institution. 7+ years of software engineering experience 6 +years experience in C#, .Net Framework/ .Net Core, ASP.NET web applications, Web API. 2+ Years in Windows application development using WPF High Proficiency coding in an Object Oriented Language (OOP), preferably C# Write high-quality, clean, logical, highly-performing code Adopt test-driven development and agile practices Demonstrate and document solutions by using flowcharts, diagrams, code comments, code snippets, and performance instruments Provide work estimates and participate in code reviews Maintain job knowledge by studying software development techniques and programming languages. Work with test teams to ensure adequate and appropriate test case coverage; investigate and fix bugs; create automated test scripts. Contribute to the software development efforts by contributing to the architecture, design, and implementation of world class, high-performance, enterprise grade software applications. Evaluate business requirements to determine potential solutions. Understand and evaluate solutions, architecture and designs to create new solutions and enhance existing solution Work directly with stakeholders, engineering, and test to create high quality products that solve customer problems. Propose and provide innovative, competitive technical solutions which can make significant business impact and provide value to stakeholders. Provide work estimates and conduct design, implementation, and code reviews. Develop and execute plans for incremental and interactive project delivery. Work with test team to ensure adequate and appropriate test case coverage; investigate and fix bugs Should be ready to code, create coding standards and ensure code quality Awareness of cybersecurity standards and practices while solutioning is a must have Perform other duties as assigned. Skills Knowledge of angular or react js 4+ years of experience in SQL/Oracle database Proficient in C# Good knowledge of architecture design , design patterns 7+ years of experience in the software industry with a proven track record of shipping high quality products. 7+ years? experience developing enterprise grade highly scalable web-based applications and/or distributed systems. Strong Proficiency in ASP.net, .net framework/ .net core, JavaScript Experience with windoes application development using WPF. Experience with web application frameworks, microservices/containerized applications. Excellent object-oriented design and programming skills, including the use of design patterns Experience in DBMS and ORM frameworks like SQL Server/ Oracle Experience utilizing best practices in software engineering. Experience in Scaled Agile Experience in Design patterns, Architecture design, phased solution delivery Experience in Code respository management and branching stratergy Experience in code analysis tools Experience in Jira, GitHub Actions, CI/CD using tools like Azure DevOps Good to have exposure to cybersecurity Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to explain technical concepts. Strong problem solving and reasoning ability, exhibiting technical innovation and creative solutions. Abreast of upcoming software development/engineering tools, trends, and methodologies. Good judgment, time management, and decision-making skills.
