Job Description

Experience: 5?8 years Location: Hyderabad (Hybrid / Onsite) Engagement: Full-time Role Overview The AWS Cloud Engineer (Mid-level) will be responsible for designing, automating, and optimizing AWS environments supporting drug development, medical affairs, and RWE initiatives. The role requires strong cloud engineering expertise, DevOps capabilities, and familiarity with life sciences data workflows. Key Responsibilities 5+ year total and + years of experience on Major CSPs Design and deploy scalable AWS architectures supporting workflow automation and data processing. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for document and code generation services. Enable workflow optimization through event-driven and serverless solutions (Lambda, Step Functions, SQS, SNS). Collaborate with scientific data teams to deploy RWE analytics pipelines using Databricks, Glue, Redshift, and EMR. Ensure security, compliance, and cost optimization across environments. Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and propose improvements aligned with AWS best practices. Implement observability using CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and third-party monitoring tools. Contribute to infrastructure documentation, templates, and reusable modules. Required Skills Strong proficiency in AWS core and data services (EC2, Lambda, S3, EKS, Glue, Redshift, Databricks). 5+ years of infrastructure automation using Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK. Good understanding of DevSecOps practices, CI/CD, and code pipelines. Hands-on experience with Python or Shell scripting for automation. Familiarity with life sciences or healthcare data management workflows. Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance (HIPAA, GxP). AWS Certified Solutions Architect ? Associate or Developer certification preferred. Optional Add-ons Soft Skills: Communication, stakeholder management, cross-functional collaboration. Domain : Pharma, clinical data, regulatory operations, medical writing automation. Tools/Frameworks: GitLab, Jenkins, Datadog, ELK Stack, ServiceNow, or AWS Control Tower.
