Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned Mivan Shuttering Engineer with 7–10 years of experience in high-rise
residential or commercial projects (G+25 floors minimum). You will lead the entire aluminum formwork
lifecycle—from design coordination and mockup to site execution and cycle-time optimization. Your
primary goal is to achieve a consistent 4-to-7-day slab cycle while maintaining impeccable finishing and
structural integrity.
Key Responsibilities -
Cycle Planning & Optimization: Design and implement rigorous slab-to-slab cycle plans. Analyze
bottlenecks in rebar, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) inserts, or shuttering to ensure no delays in
the casting schedule.
Design & Modification Coordination: Review Mivan shell plans and structural drawings. Coordinate with
designers for "modifications" or "refurbishment" of panels for different tower configurations.
Inventory & Asset Management: Manage high-value aluminum formwork assets. Monitor the number of
"repetitions" per set and oversee the procurement of pins, wedges, and wall ties to avoid site
downtime.
Technical Supervision: Lead the "Mockup" process for new sets. Ensure precise alignment of wall panels,
deck panels, and kicker systems to prevent "slush" leakage or honeycomb defects.
Contractor & Labor Management: Lead large teams of shuttering gangs. Verify contractor bills, manage
"Bar Bending Schedules" (BBS) for Mivan-specific rebar, and ensure labor productivity.
Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols for working at heights, specifically regarding the
"working platform" and "safety screens" attached to Mivan systems.
Required Skills & Technical Qualifications -
Education: B.E. / B. Tech in Civil Engineering (NICMAR or similar project management certification is a
huge plus).
Experience: 7–10 years, with at least 5 years purely in Aluminum Formwork (Mivan) projects.
High-Rise Expertise: Proven track record of managing towers with at least 25+ stories.
Software Proficiency: Expert in AutoCAD (for drawing review) and MS Project/Primavera (for timeline
tracking).
Structural Knowledge: Deep understanding of monolithic concrete construction, shear wall systems, and
chemical admixtures for early de-shuttering.
Soft Skills for Senior Level
Conflict Resolution: Ability to manage high-pressure situations between the Quality, Safety, and
Execution teams.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
Benefits:
- Commuter assistance
- Paid sick time
Work Location: In person
