As our Senior DevOps Engineer, you'll be the infrastructure backbone, embedded in engineering teams to own cloud ops, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes reliability, and security across client projects and internal tools. Collaborate with US-timezone teams, developers, QA, and the Managed IT Lead to deliver production-grade platforms that drive real impact.

This is a hands-on role for a platform builder who turns complex infrastructure into seamless, secure environments—perfect for those passionate about DevOps in dynamic, mission-driven settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Cloud Infrastructure & IaC: Design and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform/Pulumi; govern VPCs, subnets, security groups, VPNs, load balancers, IAM, and cost optimization.
• Kubernetes & Containers: Operate EKS clusters (RBAC, HPA, PDB, multi-cluster); author Helm charts, optimize Docker images, and manage registries.
• CI/CD & GitOps: Build pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD; implement GitOps workflows, canary/blue-green deployments, and automated rollbacks.
• Security & Compliance: Integrate secrets management (HashiCorp Vault/AWS Secrets Manager), least-privilege IAM, OIDC, WAF/DDoS mitigation, and Pod Security Standards.
• Observability & Reliability: Deploy Loki/Prometheus/Grafana stacks, Jaeger/OpenTelemetry tracing; define SLOs/SLIs, alerting, and blameless post-mortems.
• Data Infrastructure: Ensure HA for PostgreSQL, MongoDB, YugabyteDB; design backups, recovery, and IaC provisioning.
• Developer Experience: Create self-service tools, standardize environments, mentor juniors, and document patterns to boost engineering efficiency.

Skills & Technical Competencies

• Cloud & Infrastructure: AWS (primary), Terraform/Pulumi, VPC/subnets/VPN/load balancers/security groups/IAM, FinOps.
• Containers & Orchestration: Kubernetes (EKS), RBAC/HPA/PDB/multi-cluster, Helm, Docker optimization/registry management.
• CI/CD & Automation: Jenkins/GitHub Actions/ArgoCD, GitOps, progressive delivery, Bash/Python scripting.
• Security & Compliance: Vault/AWS Secrets Manager, IAM/OIDC, WAF/DDoS, Pod Security Standards, pipeline secrets scanning.
• Observability: Loki/Prometheus/Grafana, Jaeger/OpenTelemetry, SLO/SLI/alerting, PromQL.
• Data & Reliability: PostgreSQL/MongoDB/YugabyteDB HA/backups/DR, IaC provisioning.

Qualifications

Required:

• 4–6 years in DevOps/platform engineering/cloud infrastructure.
• Production Kubernetes experience.
• Hands-on Terraform/Pulumi in real environments.
• ArgoCD or GitOps tooling expertise.
• Bash/Python scripting proficiency.
• CI/CD pipeline design (Jenkins/GitHub Actions).
• Secrets management (Vault/AWS Secrets Manager).
• Observability with Prometheus/Grafana.

Preferred:

• Multi-cluster Kubernetes.
• YugabyteDB/distributed databases.
• OpenTelemetry instrumentation.
• US-client delivery across time zones.
• Startup/SME infrastructure from scratch.
• Platform documentation/runbooks.
