Senior DevOps

Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior DevOps/Infrastructure Engineer with extensive hands-on experience in architecting, implementing, and managing AWS-based infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of building secure, scalable, and high-availability cloud environments, and will be comfortable working across networking, compute, storage, monitoring, security, and automation with a proven experience in leading a DevOps team. Key Responsibilities ? Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers to design, implement, and manage AWS infrastructure to meet high-availability and performance requirements. ? Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment using Infrastructure-as-Code tools. ? Ensure cloud security, compliance, and cost optimization across AWS services. ? Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application and infrastructure performance. ? Work closely with development, QA, and Operations teams to enable efficient CI/CD pipelines, cloud-native application deployments, and system reliability. ? Implement best practices for backup, disaster recovery, and fault tolerance. ? Maintain staging and production environments with security controls (e.g., Sophos) applied as required. S3, RDS, DynamoDB, QLDB, Backup services API & Event Services ? API Gateway (REST and HTTP), AppSync ? EventBridge, SQS, SNS, SES Security, Compliance & IAM ? ACM, Cognito, Verified Permissions, Secrets Manager, Parameter Store ? WAF, Security Hub, GuardDuty, AWS Config, Macie, Inspector Monitoring & Logging ? CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Sentry AI/ML & Data Services ? Amazon Textract Other Tools & Requirements ? Experience with SSM for system management. ? Familiarity with Sophos for staging/production environments. ? Strong knowledge of AWS Billing and cost optimization strategies. ? Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK). ? Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.). ? Experience in CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CodePipeline). Qualifications ? Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). ? 8+ years of professional experience in DevOps/Cloud Infrastructure roles, with at least 5 years focused on AWS. ? AWS Certified Solutions Architect ? Professional or equivalent experience
