We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to contribute to the development of a cutting-edge Surveillance and Optimization platform tailored for the oil and gas sector. This platform will monitor complex workflows, perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on failed executions, enable dynamic modifications to input/output parameters, and support seamless deployment across multiple environments. You?ll collaborate closely with Flow Assurance engineers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure the platform is robust, scalable, and aligned with operational goals. Key Responsibilities Design and develop modular, object-oriented Python applications for workflow surveillance and optimization by understanding the existing platform developed in legacy technologies like Matlab and Fortran. Integrate Root Cause Analysis capabilities to identify and resolve workflow failures. Modify and validate input/output parameters for workflows and redeploy across environments. Package and host Python code for internal and external consumption. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth CI/CD pipeline integration and DevOps practices. Interface with Flow Assurance engineers to understand domain-specific requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
