Senior Developer - IAM OKTA

Job Description

About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Okta Developer to join our Identity and Access Management (IAM) team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, developing, and implementing Okta-based authentication and authorization solutions, including SSO integrations, user lifecycle management, and delegated user administration workflows. You will work closely with the onsite and global teams to support SDS application onboarding , SSO design , and user management workflow automation . Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement Okta-based IAM solutions including SSO, MFA, and user lifecycle management. Work on application onboarding into Okta and configure integrations using SAML, OIDC, and SCIM protocols. Develop and maintain delegated user administration and custom workflow automation for identity management. Collaborate with business and security stakeholders to define access policies and ensure compliance. Integrate Okta with cloud and on-prem applications for seamless user access management. Troubleshoot authentication and authorization issues and provide timely resolutions. Contribute to system design discussions , proposing scalable and secure Okta solutions for evolving business requirements. Support continuous improvement initiatives and document technical implementations. Required Skills & Experience: 5?9 years of experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) with at least 3+ years in Okta development/configuration . Hands-on experience with Okta Workflows, Okta API, SSO, MFA, SAML, OAuth, OIDC, and SCIM integrations . Strong knowledge of user provisioning, deprovisioning, and access governance . Experience in Okta administration, custom app integrations, and lifecycle management . Familiarity with PowerShell, Python, or JavaScript for automation and API integrations. Understanding of security protocols, authentication standards , and IAM best practices . Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills
