Senior Developer (Frontend/React)

We are seeking a Senior Developer Join adesso and become part of a global engineering team delivering next-generation digital customer journeys for one of the world's largest automotive financial services organizations.

You will contribute to enterprise-scale React applications supporting millions of customer interactions across multiple European markets. Working within an Agile Release Train (ART), you will collaborate with international product owners, architects, UX specialists, and backend engineers to build secure, scalable, and high-performing customer-facing solutions.

This role offers the opportunity to work with modern frontend technologies, cloud-native platforms, and enterprise architecture standards while contributing to digital products spanning financing, leasing, insurance, customer portals, and point-of-sale solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade React applications using modern frontend engineering practices.
• Build reusable, responsive, and accessible UI components.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, UX Designers, Architects, and Backend Engineers to deliver business features.
• Consume REST APIs and integrate with enterprise backend services following API-first principles.
• Participate in solution design, estimation, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and technical discussions.
• Ensure high code quality through code reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, security, and user experience.
• Troubleshoot production issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to frontend architecture, reusable component libraries, and engineering standards.
• Follow Agile/Scrum and SAFe development methodologies.

Required Skills:

Mandatory:

• Strong hands-on experience with React
• Strong JavaScript development skills
• Experience building enterprise-scale Single Page Applications (SPA)
• Experience integrating frontend applications with REST APIs
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

• Experience with AWS-based applications
• Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud / Sales Cloud integrations
