Job Description
Designer having good knowledge of modelling and layouts tasks in electrical stream. Should be able to work independently in modelling and layout tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Proficiency in following software as minimum:
Key Responsibilities
- Modelling of electrical equipment while ensuring design consistency.
- Modelling of cableways e.g. cable tray, ducts, conduits.
- Work closely with civil, piping, and instrument engineers to integrate electrical into plant design.
- Ensure all designs comply with applicable codes and standards.
- Conduct 3D model reviews with clients.
- Prepare material take-offs (MTOs) for procurement and construction
- Prepare electrical design deliverables, such as:
- Consumer/ Grounding layouts
- Lighting layouts
- Lightning protection layouts
- Cableways layouts
- Electrical building layouts
- Hook-up drawings
- Installation typical
- Support construction teams with technical clarifications and field modifications.
Proficiency in following software as minimum:
- Modelling software Smart 3D
- Model review software Smart Review
- AutoCAD/ BricsCAD
- MS Office: Word, Excel
