Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Design Engineer, based in Chennai. The Senior Design Engineer will be responsible for Design & Detail Engineering of Pneumatic Conveying , Fume Extraction System , Dust Collection System , Utility Compressed air system etc.., utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) software's like AutoCAD / ARES or equivalent 2D software, Solid works or equivalent 3D software , and contributing to the product design process. The engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all design specifications and project requirements are met efficiently.

Qualifications

• Person with "can-do attitude"
• Effective experience of 4-5 years in Design & Detail Engineering of Industrial Equipment's/ System including Flow diagrams , Layouts , GA's , OL Dwgs, Manufacturing / Fabrications Dwgs, as built Drawings , Preparation of Technical Specifications, Bill of Materials , Co-ordination with vendors/customers etc..
• Strong background in Basics of Mechanical Engineering
• Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software - ARES / AUTOCAD, SOLIDWORKS/other 3D Tools.
• Basic Knowledge of Other Core Engineering disciplines
• Proven ability to grasp engineering concepts and apply them with logical precision to real-world challenges, ensuring effective problem-solving and system optimization.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Previous experience in pneumatic conveying, compressed air systems , Fume Extraction System is a plus
• Willingness to Travel to Site
