Job Title: Principal Consultant / Data Analyst Location: Hinjewadi, Pune Experience: 8+ Years Employment Type: Contractual Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Principal Consultant / Data Analyst to join our analytics team. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in Advanced SQL, Predictive Analysis, Machine Learning , forecasting, Python, Power BI, and cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure . The role involves building and optimizing data pipelines, applying statistical/ML models, performing complex data analysis, and delivering actionable insights. Experience with Azure Data Factory or similar ETL tools is required. Key Responsibilities: Extract, transform, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources including databases and cloud platforms. Develop and maintain automated data pipelines using Azure Data Factory or equivalent ETL tools. Write highly optimized Advanced SQL queries for analysis, reporting, and performance tuning. Build predictive models and perform Predictive Analysis using statistical and machine learning techniques. Implement ML workflows for forecasting, classification, clustering, or regression use cases. Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI to communicate insights to stakeholders. Work with AWS/Azure cloud services for data storage, processing, and reporting. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into data solutions. Ensure data accuracy, quality, and compliance with governance standards. Continuously improve analytics processes, data automation, and model performance. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related fields. 8+ years of total experience , with 4?6 years in Data Analytics or Business Intelligence. Strong expertise in Advanced SQL , including complex joins, window functions, CTEs, and performance optimization. Hands-on experience in Predictive Analysis and building ML models using Python (e.g., scikit-learn, statsmodels). Proficiency in Python for analytics, feature engineering, and automation. Strong understanding of forecasting models and methodologies. Working knowledge of AWS or Azure cloud environments. Experience with Azure Data Factory or similar ETL tools. Strong analytical thinking with high attention to detail. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Good to Have: Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau . Knowledge of relational databases and data modeling. Understanding of data governance , data security, and best practices.
