Job Description:
Design & Deployment
- Lead requirement discussions with customer
- Design Azure Local / Azure Stack HCI clusters
- Review and validate all deployment configurations
- Deploy clusters, configure S2D, SDN, and Azure Arc
Migration
- Perform workload discovery and assessment
- Create migration plans and strategies
- Migrate workloads from VMware to Azure Local
- Test and validate all migrated workloads
- Provide post‑migration hypercare
Testing & Documentation
- Perform functional and performance tests
- Document test results and validation reports
- Prepare as‑built documents, configuration details, and guides
- Deliver knowledge transfer sessions
Mandatory Technical Skills
Azure Local / Azure Stack HCI
- Cluster deployment & configuration
- Windows Server Failover Clustering
- Storage Spaces Direct (S2D)
- Software Defined Networking (SDN)
- Azure Arc and hybrid cloud integration
- Cluster lifecycle management
VMware
- VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter
- VM provisioning and management
- vMotion & Storage vMotion
- HA & DRS
- Basic troubleshooting
Good to Have
- Azure Migrate, HCX, or similar migration tools
- PowerShell automation
- Basic networking (VLANs, IP planning, firewalls)
- ITIL knowledge
Soft Skills
- Strong communication and customer handling
- Ability to run workshops and technical discussions
- Good documentation skills
- Strong troubleshooting approach
