Experience: 10+ years (including 5+ years in AI/GenAI/Data Science)

Ascendion is seeking an experienced Technology Transformation Consulting leader who will drive enterprise-wide transformation initiatives powered by AI, GenAI, and advanced data capabilities. This role requires a blend of consulting expertise, strategic advisory skills, hands-on delivery leadership, and the ability to guide clients through the design and adoption of next-generation digital, data, and AI platforms.

Role Overview

In this role, you will be primarily responsible for managing, running, and delivering client engagements end-to-end. You will work closely with business and technology stakeholders to shape, design, and execute AI-led transformation programs. You will also contribute to the growth of Ascendion’s consulting practice through thought leadership, asset creation, and mentoring.

Key Responsibilities

Engagement Delivery (75–80%)

Operate as a trusted advisor and delivery leader, often wearing multiple hats such as:

• Strategist: Define AI strategy, digital transformation strategy, and enterprise roadmaps.
• Value Realization Expert: Quantify business impact, drive measurable outcomes, and ensure value realization.
• Project/Program Manager: Manage multi-track engagements, risks, governance, and client communication.
• Track Lead or Program Manager: Lead cross-functional teams to deliver business and technology transformation initiatives.

Typical engagements will include:

• Business and technology transformation through AI, Data, and Digital enablement
• Conversational AI and intelligent automation initiatives
• Target Operating Model (TOM) design for AI-first organizations
• Enterprise maturity assessments, benchmarking, and strategy development using Ascendion’s proprietary OPQ framework
• Enterprise-wide process reimagination and modernization

Business Expansion & Practice Development (5–15%)

Contribute to the consulting practice through:

• Creating proposal responses and participating in RFP processes
• Developing proactive pitches and client-centric value propositions
• Building new assets, frameworks, accelerators, and offerings
• Collaborating on thought leadership, industry outlook reports, and market insights

Learning & Self-Development (5–10%)

• Continuously upskill in emerging AI/GenAI technologies, consulting methodologies, and leadership capabilities
• Stay updated on industry trends, cloud platforms, and AI frameworks

Mentorship & Team Development (5–10%)

• Mentor and coach consultants, providing guidance on capability development and career progression
• Foster a culture of learning, innovation, and excellence

Required Skills & Experience

Technical & Domain Expertise

• 10+ years of overall experience, including 5+ years in AI, GenAI, and Data Science
• Proven track record in developing and implementing AI strategies, frameworks, and solution architectures
• Strong consulting background in technology strategy, digital transformation, and enterprise modernization
• Deep understanding of the AI implementation lifecycle: problem definition, data preparation, model development, validation, deployment, monitoring, and optimization
• Hands-on experience with:
• Machine Learning, NLP, Computer Vision, Deep Learning
• AI Observability, MLOps, LLMOps, AgentOps
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP
• Working knowledge of public and private LLMs and high-level understanding of LLM fine-tuning
• Familiarity with multimodal AI, agentic AI frameworks, and emerging AI technologies

Consulting & Leadership Skills

• Strong client-facing consulting experience with the ability to lead transformation conversations at CXO/VP level
• Ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder engagements
• Experience working with industries heavily influenced by AI adoption and GenAI-driven user behaviors
• Strong communication, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and storytelling abilities
