About the Role: Senior Consultant Data - Functional

Location: Jiddah, Saudi Arabia (Onsite)

Experience - 8+ years

Contract Duration: 6 Months

We are looking for a Senior Consultant – Data Functional to join our Enterprise Data Platform (EDP) team. This role bridges the gap between business requirements and technical implementation, focusing on data analysis, data warehousing, and Azure-based enterprise data platforms. You’ll work closely with multinational clients to understand their data needs, translate them into technical requirements, and ensure successful implementation of enterprise data solutions. This is a hands-on execution role, ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, stakeholders, and technology together.

What You’ll Do:

• Engage with business stakeholders to gather and analyze data requirements.

• Perform Source-to-Target Mapping (STTM) mapping data fields from source systems to target data

warehouse structures.

• Collaborate with the technical team to design and validate data models for the enterprise data

warehouse on Azure.

• Work on Enterprise Data Platform (EDP) setup and integration, connecting multiple source systems.

• Interpret Power BI requirements understand business needs for dashboards and visualizations (e.g.,

pie charts, bar charts, donut charts), though not responsible for creating them.

• Conduct data profiling and data validation using SQL to ensure data quality and accuracy.

• Support data modeling activities to define relationships, hierarchies, and schemas.

• Liaise with client and internal teams to ensure alignment across technical and functional aspects.

• Contribute to documentation, testing, and UAT processes to validate data solutions.

Must-Have Skills

1. Oracle Fusion Experience (Mandatory)

• Strong hands-on experience across Oracle Fusion modules.

• Deep understanding of business processes and cross-module functional flows.

2. Technical Skills (Mandatory)

• Java exposure for integration understanding.

• SQL for data validation, queries, profiling, and functional testing.

• Hands-on experience with any cloud platform; Azure is preferred.

3. Data & EDP Skills (as required in original JD)

• Strong understanding of Enterprise Data Platforms (EDP).

• Experience in Data Warehouse concepts.

• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Services such as:

o Fabric

o Data Factory

o Databricks

• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

• Knowledge of data modelling and data profiling concepts.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

4. Domain Expertise (Candidate Background)
