Senior Business Development Manager

Position: Senior Business Development Manager – Advanced Polymer Solutions

Location: Ahmedabad (India) | Scope: India

Role Purpose

Responsible for developing and expanding SIMONA India’s presence in advanced industrial and high‑purity applications through structured business development, key account management and strategic market initiatives.

Key Accountabilities

• Develop new business across Renewable Energy, Semiconductor, Data Centre, High‑Purity Water and Process Industries.
• Establish and manage long‑term relationships with EPC contractors, OEMs, Fabricators, Consultants and End‑users.
• Support specification development and early project engagement through application and material expertise.
• Execute key account and sector‑specific growth strategies in alignment with SIMONA’s regional objectives.
• Monitor market trends, competitive landscape and emerging applications.
• Coordinate closely with internal technical, application engineering and global product teams.
• Ensure disciplined pipeline management, forecasting accuracy and CRM reporting.

Qualifications & Professional Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Polymer or Plastics Engineering (mandatory).
• MBA or equivalent business exposure preferred.
• Minimum 12–18 years of relevant experience in engineered polymers, piping systems, FRP/GRP or process industry solutions.
• Experience with high‑purity, corrosion‑resistant or critical applications.
• Strong exposure to thermoplastic and fluoroplastic materials including PVDF and Fluoropolymers.
• Ability to operate independently within a matrixed, multinational organization.
• High level of professional maturity, communication and stakeholder‑management capability.
