Job Title: Senior Business Development Executive – East India (ElectriVa)

ElectriVa is one of India’s leading EV charging network operators, building the fastest and largest charge-point network in the country. We are seeking a Senior Business Development Executive to join our East India team.


Key Responsibilities

1.     Develop and execute a business development strategy, identifying key market segments and tailoring growth plans to regional needs.

2.     Identify and evaluate new business opportunities and potential clients.

3.     Generate and qualify leads through networking, industry events, and outreach.

4.     Lead negotiations and close high-value deals for EV charging projects – draft agreements, manage approvals, and coordinate contract execution.

5.     Demonstrate strong key-account management and upselling abilities.

6.     Project Coordination: Work closely with engineering and operations teams to ensure site feasibility, equipment delivery, and timely project rollout. Develop customized proposals and financial models to meet client needs.


Qualifications and Skills

1.     Experience: 3+ years of business development or sales experience, ideally within the EV, energy, or infrastructure sector

2.     Proven track record of closing complex deals and expanding market presence.

3.     Deep understanding of Eastern India’s industrial and government landscape. Existing network of contacts with state agencies, utilities, or large enterprises.

4.     Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with EV charging technology and clean-energy projects. Proficiency in data analysis and CRM tools for pipeline management.

5.     Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.

6.     Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, ownership-driven start-up environment.

7.     Willingness to travel extensively, as needed.
