Job Description

We are seeking an Oracle Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with functional experience in the Order to Cash and Procure to Pay business processes and modules, including (but not limited to): AP, AR, G/L, Cash Management, Order Management, and Inventory.

The Oracle BSA will play a critical role in defining the next generation of tax-related integrations with Oracle products. In this role, you will be responsible for developing functional requirement specifications, creating test case plans, validating acceptance criteria, and documenting integration processes between Oracle systems and external tax determination solutions.

 

Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed analysis of integration requirements with Oracle modules, including Order to Cash and Procure to Pay, to identify opportunities for design improvements
  • Prepare comprehensive Oracle Integration Requirement Specifications, functional documentation, and associated business use cases for technical teams
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA testers, and other analysts, throughout the product lifecycle
  • Facilitate test case creation, oversee QA validation, and support the development of end-user documentation
  • Perform Oracle application configuration and recommend settings for relevant modules
  • Provide second-level support and training to internal teams on Oracle-related solutions
  • Gather, document, and refine business requirements for Oracle system integrations
  • Participate in team discussions and meetings to address issues and enhance system functionality
  • Support product rollouts and implementations while ensuring end-user success and functionality validation
  • Monitor and support existing product functionality, assess upgrades or patches, and investigate workarounds as required
  • Offer technical and business process insights during discussions with internal teams and partners

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in Business Analysis
  • At least 1-3 years of hands-on experience in Oracle modules (AP, AR, G/L, Order Management, Purchasing, Inventory) covering requirements gathering, design, configuration, and testing
  • Proficiency in Oracle E-Business Suite R12 or Oracle Fusion applications
  • Experience with EDI implementation and collaboration messaging
  • Knowledge of full lifecycle Oracle implementations, including configuration, testing, and deployment
  • Expertise in financial processes and systems such as quote-to-cash and procure-to-pay
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to overlay business processes across multiple financial systems
  • Background in working with standard financial processes in Oracle environments
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities, especially with internal teams and external partners
  • English level – B2 or higher, both spoken and written

Nice to have

  • Experience in Oracle R12 EBS Tax module or Oracle Fusion Tax
  • Customer-facing experience with an ability to build strong partnerships with stakeholders
  • Familiarity with Agile Product Delivery methods, such as Scrum
  • Technical knowledge or development experience with Oracle tools like Foundation, SQL*Plus, or System Administration
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under tight deadlines in dynamic environments
