Job Description
Focaloid is looking for a highly skilled Senior IT Business Analyst who can lead requirement discovery, solution design, problem‑solving, and cross‑functional coordination. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical thinking, the ability to translate business needs into scalable solutions, and experience participating in role‑play sessions with clients, product owners, and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
🔹 Requirement Gathering & Analysis
- Interact with clients and stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Conduct workshops, role‑play sessions, and discovery calls to understand business objectives.
- Translate high‑level business needs into detailed functional and non‑functional requirements.
🔹 Solution Design
- Work closely with architects, product managers, and engineering teams to design scalable, user‑centric solutions.
- Create process flows, system diagrams, mockups, and data mapping documents.
- Evaluate multiple solution approaches and recommend the best-fit design.
🔹 Documentation
- Prepare BRDs, FRDs, SRS documents, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
- Maintain documentation in Confluence, Jira, and internal repositories.
- Ensure clarity and traceability of requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
🔹 Agile Delivery Support
- Collaborate with Product Owners during sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
- Support QA team by reviewing test cases, validating scenarios, and ensuring alignment with requirements.
- Act as the primary liaison between business and technical teams for clarifications.
🔹 Problem Solving & Issue Resolution
- Identify gaps, dependencies, and potential risks in business processes or technical solutions.
- Provide structured problem-solving support during development and UAT cycles.
- Recommend improvements for processes, workflows, and system performance.
🔹 Stakeholder & Client Interaction
- Facilitate role‑play sessions to simulate business scenarios and validate solution flows.
- Present findings, solution options, and requirement summaries to clients.
- Manage expectations across internal and external stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst.
- Strong expertise in solution design, requirement analysis, and process modelling.
- Hands-on experience with UML, BPMN, user stories, acceptance criteria, and wireframing tools.
- Excellent problem‑solving, structured thinking, and communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum frameworks.
- Ability to handle client-facing discussions, workshops, and role‑play simulations.
- Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro, Visio, Figma/Balsamiq.
