About you

• The person will bridge Finance, Operations, and Technology to accelerate analysis, clarify requirements, and drive solution designs.
• Working as part of the Tahoe Finance workstream to ensure delivery of the Financial Control and Business Finance reporting requirements
• Good working relationships with UK Financial Controller, India Team, Business Finance Director
• Engage with fidelity tech teams to help design and validate reports developed by Fidelity technology
• Part of the project team defining and testing data requirements from HSBC to support the FIL Life accounting and business finance

Experience and Qualifications Required

• We urgently require an experienced Business Analyst—preferably with knowledge of Fidelity processing systems such as GFAS and Sonata to support Finance workstream.
• Substantial experience working in a business analyst, project and programme management or business transformation capacity.
• Ability to develop an initial specification of data requirements for extraction, transformation, storage, and downstream reporting
• Lead the design and delivery of operational readiness activities across impacted teams
• Create and enhance key team management artefacts, including but not limited to Standard operating procedures (SOPs), Controls and control frameworks, record management and documentation standards
• Accounting knowledge would be useful
• Experience of being part of a project team in financial services
• Experience of working with technology to design and test reports would be desirable
• Strong analytical skills, experience of financial control & regulatory returns would be an advantage.
• Shows attention to detail, intellectual curiosity and an appetite to investigate and resolve issues when they arise.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
