Job Description

For an international project in Chennai, we are urgently looking for a Full Remote Senior BI Developer with +8 years of experience with a strong foundation and hands-on experience in BI data management design and development, debugging BI existing applications, and performance tuning. We are looking for a motivated contractor. Candidates need to be fluent in English. Tasks and responsibilities: Analyze business and technical requirements for data integration; Design and develop ADF pipelines for ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes; Integrate on-premises and cloud-based data sources (e.g., Oracle, File system, SAP, Blob Storage, REST APIs?); Implement data transformation logic using ADF mapping data flows and activities or using DBT tool; Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize pipeline performance; Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure data quality and usability; Profile: Bachelor or Master degree; +8 years of experience in data engineering or ETL development; Proven hands-on expertise in Azure Data Factory, including pipeline design, data flows, and integration runtime; Experience with Azure services (e.g., Azure SQL, Blob Storage, Data Lake); Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other relevant programming languages; Experience in using DBT tool is a plus; Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance best practices; Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; Fluent in English;
