Role Description  

We're looking for a Senior Backend Engineer with strong experience in Golang and modern backend architecture.  

Our existing platform includes services built with NestJS, while all new backend services are being developed in Golang. You'll play a key role in designing new services, guiding the migration from NestJS to Golang, and building secure enterprise software for customer deployments.  

This role goes beyond feature development—you'll help build systems that customers deploy within their own infrastructure, where software security, licensing, and reliability are critical.  

##What You'll Do  

• Design and develop scalable backend services using Golang.  
• Lead the migration of backend services from NestJS to Golang.  
• Design REST and gRPC APIs.  
• Build secure authentication, authorization, and licensing systems.  
• Design scalable backend architecture for enterprise workloads.  
• Optimize application performance and reliability.  
• Work with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis.  
• Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and product teams.  
• Review code and mentor junior engineers.  
• Drive engineering best practices across the backend team.  

##Enterprise Platform Responsibilities  

• Build secure software for enterprise and on-premises deployments.  
• Implement license verification and activation mechanisms.  
• Work on binary protection and build hardening.  
• Apply software watermarking and tamper protection techniques.  
• Use cryptography where appropriate for licensing and secure communication.  
• Support deployments in offline (air-gapped) customer environments.  
• Improve deployment reliability and software delivery processes.  

Required Skills (Must Have) 

• 3–5 years of backend development experience.  
• Strong experience with Golang.  
• Good understanding of NestJS or Node.js.  
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, or private cloud platforms 
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and HTTP.  
• Experience with gRPC.  
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.  
• Experience using Redis.  
• Strong knowledge of backend architecture and distributed systems.  
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.  
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.  
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.  
• Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.  

 

  

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)  

Not mandatory, but candidates with the following will be given preference:  

• Experience with React or Next.js or Golang  
• Familiarity with Docker and containerization  
• Understanding of microservices architecture  
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines
