Role : Senior Backend Engineer Tech-stack: NodeJs/Go Experience : 5-10 years Location : Bangalore (Hybrid) Type : Full-time About the company The company is an venture-backed, AI-first fin-tech product company redefining how high-volume businesses run their finance operations. Position Overview As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will be joining the founding engineering team of 15+ folks in building high-performance, AI-driven products end-to-end. You?ll own technical design, ship impactful features across frontend and backend, and mentor junior developers?working closely with Product, Design, and DevOps to move fast and deliver business outcomes. Role & Responsibilities Design and develop scalable products & features using GoLang or Node.js and React Craft reliable & scalable RESTful (and optionally GraphQL) services and integrations. Model and optimise relational (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases. Write clean, secure, performant code; drive code reviews and best practices. Collaborate with PM/Design/DevOps to deliver user-first features on time. Maintain a high standard of architecture and code documentation. Must have Criteria 5-10 years of work-ex in backend or full-stack engineering in Golang or NodeJs Experience designing & deploying scalable microservices, preferably in Go or NodeJS Solid years of experience working with PostgreSQL and MongoDB. 1-5 years of front-end development experience in React, with good grasp of HTML, JS, CSS Great problem solving skills with strong DSA fundamentals, and high attention to detail. Experience with AWS Cloud/DevOps and Docker/Kubernetes is a plus. Great Communication skills, high on team-work and ownership. Nice to Haves Great product design sense, know how of good UX and responsive design. Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI). Awareness of web security best practices.
