What We Are Looking For

Accedo is looking for a full-time permanent Senior Software Engineer, Back-End in the Global Service Management team based in Hungary to provide expert development and project implementation skills for the E&L region. Your major responsibilities will include:

• You will play a key role in building and maintaining production applications and verify resolution
• Feature development, SDK updates and code enhancement, refactoring, and review
• Actively participate in Customer discussions, requirements analysis and testing support.
  
  

Requirements

Deep Technical Expertise

• Expert-level proficiency in Node.js (event loop, streams, performance tuning)
• Strong command of TypeScript and scalable project structure
• Experience with frameworks like NestJS / Express
• Designing and maintaining robust REST and/or GraphQL APIs
  
  

Architecture & System Design

• Proven experience designing scalable, distributed systems
• Strong understanding of microservices and message queues
• Experience with caching strategies (Redis), rate limiting, and performance optimization
• API versioning, backward compatibility, and long-term maintainability mindset
• Applying clean architecture, TDD, and design patterns where appropriate
  
  

Cloud & DevOps

• Hands-on experience with AWS/Google Cloud/Azure
• CI/CD pipeline design and optimization
• Observability: logging, tracing, metrics (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
• Designing cloud-native solutions (serverless, containers, Kubernetes) is a plus
• Infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation) is a plus
  
  

Leadership & Ownership

• Leading technical design discussions and architecture decisions
• Mentoring engineers and performing high-quality code reviews
• Translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Strong ownership mindset and accountability for production systems
  
  

Soft Skills

• Excellent English communication skills both verbal and written, fluency in additional language(s) would be hugely advantageous
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or related discipline(s)
• At least 5 years of professional experiences developing applications in multiple platforms
