About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Backend Developer (.NET Core) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend applications and APIs for enterprise-level projects across multiple domains.

You will play a key role in building robust backend solutions, integrating third-party systems, optimizing database performance, and ensuring high-quality software delivery within project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications using ASP.NET Core (.NET 8) and C#.
• Develop scalable, secure, and high-performance RESTful APIs and Microservices.
• Design, optimize, and maintain SQL Server and PostgreSQL databases.
• Implement business logic and backend services based on functional requirements.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization using JWT and OAuth.
• Follow Clean Architecture, SOLID principles, and established coding standards.
• Collaborate with Frontend Developers, Business Analysts, QA Engineers, and Project Managers throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality, maintainability, and best practices.
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications hosted on Azure App Services and Azure SQL.
• Troubleshoot production issues, optimize application performance, and ensure system reliability.
• Take ownership of assigned modules from development through deployment while ensuring timely delivery and software quality.

Technical Skills

• Strong experience with ASP.NET Core (.NET 8) and C#.
• Hands-on experience in developing RESTful APIs and Microservices.
• Strong knowledge of Entity Framework Core.
• Experience in designing and optimizing SQL Server and PostgreSQL databases.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs and external systems.
• Good understanding of authentication and authorization using JWT and OAuth.
• Experience with Azure App Services and Azure SQL is preferred.
• Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerized deployments is an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of Clean Architecture, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
• Basic knowledge of frontend technologies such as Angular or React is an added advantage.

Qualifications
