Job Description

We are expanding our cloud consulting practice and are seeking experienced Senior AWS Solutions Architects to help lead the design and delivery of complex AWS transformation programmes on six month contracts.

This is a hands-on architecture role working closely with enterprise clients to design, migrate and modernise workloads on AWS.

Rather than acting purely as a design authority, our architects work within delivery teams, building production environments and guiding engineering teams through successful cloud adoption.

The Role

Working directly with customers and internal delivery teams you will:

Design secure, scalable AWS architectures aligned to client business outcomes
Lead workload migration programmes into AWS using services such as AWS MGN and DMS
Implement infrastructure as code environments using Terraform or CloudFormation
Support the development of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes
Ensure environments meet AWS best practices for reliability, performance and security
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineers within delivery teams
Contribute to architecture governance, documentation and solution standards

Requirements

Experience

We are looking for architects who combine strong AWS design capability with hands-on delivery experience, including:

Extensive experience designing and implementing AWS solutions
Deep understanding of AWS networking, security and scalable architecture design
Proven experience delivering end-to-end AWS migrations and modernisation programmes
Hands-on experience working with Terraform or CloudFormation in production environments
Experience working within consulting, professional services or complex enterprise delivery environments
