Skills and Competencies Strong expertise in core Amazon Web Services (AWS) services, including EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, and CloudFormation, to architect and maintain secure and scalable cloud infrastructure. Proficiency in Linux system administration and scripting using languages such as Python or Bash. Demonstrated experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools, particularly Terraform or AWS CloudFormation and solid understanding of networking principles, cloud security best practices, and high-availability architectures. Exhibits a strong work ethic, effective teamwork, clear communication, and excellent problem-solving skills, with a willingness to work flexible hours to collaborate with international teams. Preferred qualifications include AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect ? Professional), and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Desired experience with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and exposure to machine learning/AI infrastructure requirements. Education Bachelor?s or master?s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. 3?4+ years of experience in a cloud systems engineering or architecture role. Responsibilities Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of our AWS-based cloud architecture, ensuring the scalability, security, and reliability of our AI platforms. Architect and maintain secure, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud infrastructure on AWS. Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform and AWS CDK. Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting for cloud resources using tools such as AWS CloudWatch. Manage system performance, availability, and disaster recovery strategies to ensure platform reliability. Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, and MLOps engineers to support machine learning and Generative AI workloads, ensuring optimal resource allocation. Ensure compliance with security best practices, including identity management, encryption, and network security. Troubleshoot and resolve complex system-level issues across cloud environments.
