Senior Automation Tester

About the Company

We’re hiring a Senior QA Automation Tester to support automated testing for a large enterprise environment. This person will help design, build, and improve automation frameworks and play a key role in making sure applications perform reliably across releases.

About the Role

This role is a good fit for someone with strong hands-on automation experience who enjoys working closely with engineering, product, and design teams to improve quality across the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and improve automated testing frameworks
• Lead automated testing across unit, functional, UI, and performance testing
• Maintain and update automated regression suites as features evolve
• Partner with product, engineering, and design teams throughout development
• Help define features and ensure quality and performance meet expectations
• Identify bugs, bottlenecks, and other issues before release
• Support release readiness, updates, and ongoing automation improvements
• Contribute to code reviews, testing standards, and quality improvement efforts

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience

Required Skills

• 5–7 years of experience in QA automation or application testing
• Strong hands-on experience building automation frameworks
• Experience with automation tools such as Selenium or similar frameworks
• Strong Java experience
• Shell scripting experience
• Experience with Selenium and TestNG
• Experience developing and documenting UI test automation in Java
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work across the full product lifecycle

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Git and Bitbucket
• Experience with continuous integration and unit testing
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
• Experience in financial services

Pay range and compensation package
