Frontend Software Engineer – P7 (f/m/d)

We design, build and operate our own sophisticated software solutions. These highly integrated and automated IT systems are essential to our success.

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Frontend Developer to join our growing IT development team in Hyderabad, focused on cutting-edge trading technologies. You will play a key role in shaping out new GUI for the Pricing Engine P7. This role offers a technically challenging environment with strong opportunities for continuous learning and professional growth. You will collaborate closely with experienced colleagues in Eschborn and Prague, working in an international and innovation-driven cross-location team.

Your area of work:

• You will be part of the P7 Pricing Engine project, contributing to one of the core strategic platforms within Deutsche Börse Group.
• Your focus will be on building and enhancing modern frontend applications that provide intuitive and efficient user interfaces for trading system users and internal stakeholders.
• Development stack: React, TypeScript, Node.js, REST APIs, Vite, Git, CI/CD pipelines, GCP.
• UI & FE ecosystem: AG Grid (Enterprise), MUI, Zustand, Socket.io, Highcharts, Plotly.js.
• You will collaborate with distributed teams across locations including Europe.

Your responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain modern, high-performance frontend applications with real-time data, complex visualizations, and scalable architecture using React and TypeScript.
• Design and implement reusable UI components and contribute to FE architecture decisions.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend services and APIs (Node.js based).
• Participate in the full development lifecycle, from requirements and design to implementation, testing, and delivery.
• Ensure high code quality through code reviews, testing, and adherence to best practices.
• Gain deep insights into the P7 and T7 trading system and exchange domain through hands-on, solution-oriented work with a strong focus on performance and usability.

Your profile:

• At least 5 years of experience with React and TypeScript
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and modern frontend development
• Experience with Node.js and modern frontend libraries such as MUI, Zustand
• Experience building data-driven UI (tables, dashboards, charts) using tools like AG Grid, Highcharts, or Plotly.js is an advantage
• Familiarity with real-time technologies (e.g. Socket.io) is a plus
• University degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive learning attitude
• Team-oriented mindset with ability to collaborate across distributed teams
• Excellent communication skills in English and team-oriented mindset
• Understanding of financial markets or trading systems is an advantage
