Senior Associate - Data Engineer

Job Description

Job Purpose We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Data Engineer to support data-driven decision-making across the organization. The role involves working with large datasets from DealCloud and other sources, identifying trends and patterns, and collaborating with visualization and AI teams. A key focus will be supporting Snowflake integration and building scalable data pipelines. Desired Skills And Experience Candidates should have a B.E./B.Tech/MCA/MBA in Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field 6-8 years of professional experience in data engineering or related roles. Strong proficiency in SQL for data manipulation, optimization, and query performance tuning. Hands-on experience with Snowflake, including schema design, data loading, and performance optimization Experience working with DealCloud or similar CRM/data platforms. Proficiency in Python for data processing, automation, and API integration Familiarity with ETL/ELT tools such as Apache Airflow, dbt, Talend, or Informatica. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data services (e.g., S3, Azure Data Factory, BigQuery). Knowledge of data warehousing and data lake architecture. Strong understanding of data modeling, data governance, and data security practices. Experience with Power BI or similar visualization tools for dashboard development and reporting. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines. Excellent problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills. Familiarity with Snowflake and cloud-based data warehousing. Strong understanding of data modeling and analytics. Experience working with enterprise platforms like Deal Cloud is a plus. Ability to work independently. Key Responsibilities Analyze large and complex datasets from DealCloud and other enterprise sources. Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies to support strategic decision-making. Design, build, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines for Snowflake and other data platforms. Collaborate with Power BI specialists to ensure seamless data visualization and reporting. Develop and optimize data models and storage solutions using Snowflake. Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all stages of the data lifecycle. Automate data workflows and support real-time data processing where applicable. Work closely with cross-functional teams including business analysts, product managers, and data scientists.
