Senior Associate - Azure Data Engineer

Job Purpose We are looking for a strong, hands-on Data design, build, and maintain the systems and infrastructure Azure Data Engineering, Proven success as an Azure Data Engineer, with the ability to consult, advise, engineer and optimize our customers data products and assets.? Desired Skills And Experience Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience. 5+ years of ?Azure Data Engineering: Proven success as an Azure Data Engineer, with the ability to consult, advise, engineer and optimize our customers data products and assets.? ?Azure Data Products: Expertise in one or more of the following platforms: Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure Databricks, and experience in some of the supporting data technologies like Power BI, Microsoft Purview, Azure SQL Database, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Data Lake, etc.? ?Azure: Understand core Azure infrastructure concepts and tools (Networks, Identify/Entra, ARM, BICEP, Terraform, etc.). You don?t need to be an expert in these but need to understand where they fit into the picture.?? ?DevOps: Experience with CI/CD promotion from Dev to Prod, through tools like Fabric, Azure DevOps and/or GitHub.? ?Exceptional Communication: Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills to both internal and external audiences.? ?Versatile Experience: Working with varying organizations, from SMC to Enterprise.? ?Agile Methodologies: Commercial Agile experience is desirable.? Certification Preferred: Microsoft certifications are advantageous. Key Responsibilities Azure Data Engineering Design, build, and optimize data pipelines and solutions on Azure. Consult and advise customers on best practices for data architecture and engineering. Ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of data products and assets. Azure Data Products Implement and manage solutions using platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Databricks. Integrate supporting technologies like Power BI, Microsoft Purview, Azure SQL Database, Azure Cosmos DB, and Azure Data Lake. Drive data governance and compliance through Purview and related tools. Azure Infrastructure Awareness Understand core Azure infrastructure components (Networking, Identity/Entra, ARM templates, BICEP, Terraform). Collaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration of data solutions. DevOps & CI/CD: Implement CI/CD pipelines for data solutions using Azure DevOps, GitHub, or Fabric. Manage deployment processes from development to production environments.
