Senior Angular Engineer (Angular 15+)

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Angular Engineer with deep expertise in Angular 15+ , scalable frontend architecture, and UI performance optimisation. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in building complex user interfaces, integrating with REST APIs, and mentoring engineering teams. You will collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Backend teams to deliver high-quality digital experiences that align with W12 design standards. This role requires both technical depth and leadership capability, owning critical frontend workstreams and ensuring engineering best practices across the project. Requirements ?? Key Responsibilities Frontend Engineering & Architecture Develop, enhance, and maintain complex frontend applications using Angular 15+, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript. Design and optimise UI application logic with a strong emphasis on performance, scalability, and maintainability. Implement responsive, high-quality UI using CSS frameworks such as Bootstrap and PrimeNG. Integrate frontend components with backend REST API services, ensuring smooth data flows and error handling. UI/UX & Design Standards Ensure alignment with W12 design standards and contribute to improving design system adoption. Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes and prototypes into functional interfaces. Provide input on usability improvements and user-centric design practices. Engineering Leadership Mentor and guide junior and mid-level frontend engineers, driving code quality and technical excellence. Lead architectural discussions and make key decisions for frontend modules and feature implementations. Establish and enforce frontend best practices, coding standards, and review processes. Own and deliver complex workstreams, ensuring timely and high-quality output. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work effectively with Product Managers, Design teams, QA engineers, and Backend developers. Participate in sprint planning, estimations, and technical discussions. Troubleshoot cross-functional issues and ensure smooth delivery across the product lifecycle. ?? Core Technical Requirements Expert-level proficiency in Angular 15+ Strong expertise in: TypeScript Modern JavaScript (ES6+) Angular component architecture, services, RxJS State management patterns (e.g., NgRx) (optional to include) Experience with CSS frameworks such as: Bootstrap PrimeNG Deep hands-on experience in: Designing and optimizing UI application workflows REST API integration Performance tuning & scalable SPA (Single Page Application) design ? Additional Expectations Familiarity with W12 design standards (preferred) Basic to intermediate UI/UX experience Proven experience in leading teams or mentoring engineers Ability to own complex modules and drive architectural decisions Strong collaboration skills across engineering and product teams Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities ??
