Must have skills required: Integration Testing, System Testing, Unit Testing, C++, Linux, Android POS terminals, Api integration, EMV, Java (android sdk), Payment Processing, Android, UI Development, Cryptography Leading Merchant Solutions Provider is Looking for: Role We are looking for a skilled Android POS Developer to join our dynamic team and take ownership of building and optimizing applications for payment terminals (POS devices). The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in Java, AIDL services, and experience developing across multiple POS hardware platforms. You?ll play a critical role in enhancing user experiences and ensuring seamless card payment integrations. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain Android-based applications for POS terminals (Ingenico, Pax, Verifone, Newland, Sunmi, etc.). Collaborate with product managers and backend teams to design and implement robust payment solutions. Ensure compliance with card scheme standards (e.g., PCI-DSS, EMV). Create clean, efficient, and responsive UI components tailored for POS screens using Java. Troubleshoot, optimize, and debug performance issues on hardware devices. Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and feature planning sessions. Maintain documentation for services and integration processes. Required Qualifications 5+ years of total software development experience, with at least 2 recent years focused on POS terminals. Strong proficiency in Java (Android SDK) for application and UI development. Hands-on development experience with Ingenico, Pax, Verifone, Sunmi, or Newland POS devices. Strong background in banking, card payments, or fintech environments. Experience with UI development specifically for embedded Android POS terminals. Knowledge of security standards and certifications relevant to payment apps. Preferred Attributes Experience with EMV, ISO8583, or other payment standards.
